Middle School

Curriculum

WCA is an academically rigorous school. We challenge our students in and out of the classroom. Weekly work includes classwork, homework, tests, quizzes, projects and memory verses.

Uniforms

The goal of the WCA’s Dress code is that students present themselves in a clean and neat manner as a representation of Wildwood Christian Academy. While we recognize the uniqueness of each student and seek to develop individuality, it is also important for each student to understand the concept of appropriate dress for particular situations.

At Home Middle School

You Teach It

WCA has expanded our partnership with Bob Jones University Press with Christian Classroom Online. With our partnership, we are able to offer Biblical worldview education to more students through our At Home Learning program. The “You Teach It” Program is offered for 1st through 8th grades. Registration fees include grade level curriculum bundles with video lessons for each course. This bundle also includes required textbooks, daily lessons taught via video, necessary handouts, manipulatives and lesson plan guides. Parents also receive teacher editions and access to online gradebook. Students complete coursework at home Monday through Friday. For this program, parents are responsible for grading all student work and entering points into the online gradebook.

We Teach It

WCA is excited to partner with iLumenEd Academy. iLumenEd Academy is a subsidiary of Renewanation. Renewanation and iLumenEd are committed to training educators, parents, and leaders to establish a Biblical worldview in the lives of children. The “We Teach It” program is offered for 6th through 8th grades. Students attend live or recorded courses online via the internet Monday through Thursday and have the ability to receive extra educational assistance on Fridays. This is a wonderful option for children who require extra accountability from a teacher. Registration fees cover the cost of necessary curriculum.
