Accreditation

Wildwood Christian Academy is extremely pleased and proud to announce that WCA has been granted accreditation by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). WCA's accreditation status extends through June 2027 and is a testimony to the dedicated faculty, staff, and other stakeholders committed to high-quality learning and well-being for all students through a continuous improvement process.

The Kindergarten through 12th grade programs are currently accredited with WASC.

Wildwood Christian Academy continues to seek dual accreditation with both The Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The WCA Faculty and Staff are currently completing the self study process with ACTS.

Some of the benefits of accreditation are:

  1. To validate that WCA is teaching with a Biblical worldview, integrity, excellence, relationship, creativity, and service.

  2. It assures the school community that its purpose is accomplished through a viable education program.

  3. It validates the integrity of the school's program and transcripts.

  4. Facilitates transfer credits to other schools, which can be used for college/ university acceptance worldwide.

ACTS

For ACTS:  The WCA Faculty and Staff participate in bi-weekly focus groups and are currently working on our self-study report for ACTS. We are expecting an accreditation team visit in April 2025.
