Erik Sahakian

administrative pastor

Pastor Erik is blessed to be the byproduct of both a Christian home and a Christian education. He publicly accepted the Lord at a Billy Graham Crusade when he was 10 years old.

However, his story really began back in the summer of 1990. It was the summer before his sophomore year at Whittier Christian High School, while he was attending a home Bible study at a friend's house.

At the Bible study, during a private moment of prayer, he asked the Lord to use his life to help others grow closer to Him, the way God had used others to help Erik do the same. In that moment, he clearly discerned the Holy Spirit say, "One day, you will be a pastor."

Flash forward several decades and today Erik is humbled and blessed to be an Administrative Pastor at Wildwood Calvary Chapel where he regularly teaches, counsels, and writes.

He has a passion to see people develop a profound love for the Bible, an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, and to walk in victory through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Erik earned his undergraduate degree from Cal State Fullerton in Political Science and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Redlands.

He is an avid reader and writer, which has led him to author, co-author, edit, and publish numerous books for a variety of writers.

Pastor Erik also loves to travel, which has led him to 25 states and 12 countries where he's had the opportunity to speak about God's Word and to share His love with others.

The best part though is that he gets to share life and ministry with his lovely wife, Juanita, and their two children, Skylar and Maksim.
